Carmen Quiroga, 42, Einwanderin aus Mexiko, kennt in ihrem ganzen Leben nichts anderes als Arbeit. Sie steht sieben Tage die Woche jeweils mindestens 12 Stunden in der Küche, hat keine Zeit für irgendwelche Hobbys, sieht keine Nachrichten, spricht schlecht englisch.

Wokeness wurde erst zum Schlagwort des Widerstands, aber dann ganz schnell vor allem zur Beschimpfung für "woke Linke", die sich als moralisch überlegen aufspielen. […]

Several people were quick to bypass the true meaning behind the name which is to 'wake up and have a coffee,' according to the news outlet. She claimed she had no idea what the political definition of 'woke' meant.
